The site is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. Technical connection data may still be processed by the hosting and security infrastructure in order to deliver pages, prevent abuse and keep the service available.
This can include information such as IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or device information and security-related request metadata.
The current contact form runs in your browser and prepares an email in your default mail application. The website itself does not store the values entered in the form.
If you send an email, the information contained in that message — such as your name, email address, message and any information you choose to include — is processed only to read, manage and respond to your communication.
Depending on the nature of the request, the legal basis is the handling of steps requested by you before entering into an agreement or the legitimate interest in responding to correspondence and managing professional contacts.
The Project Updates newsletter is intended to be active at launch. If you subscribe, your email address is sent to the newsletter provider in order to manage the subscription and deliver updates.
Subscription is based on your consent and uses a double opt-in flow: after submitting the form, you must confirm the subscription from the email you receive. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in newsletter messages.
No advertising trackers, profiling tools, Meta Pixel or Google Analytics are used. The website does not intentionally set non-essential advertising cookies.
The production site is intended to be delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical data as necessary to provide content delivery, network security and related services.
Brevo is intended to be used to manage Project Updates subscriptions and newsletter delivery. When you subscribe, Brevo processes your email address and subscription status for that purpose.
Where a service provider processes personal data on behalf of the controller, it is expected to do so under the applicable contractual and data-protection safeguards.
Technical data is retained according to the operational and security settings of the relevant infrastructure provider.
Email correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the communication and any follow-up, or longer where required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or meet legal obligations.
Newsletter subscription data is retained while you remain subscribed and, where necessary, afterwards to keep a record of unsubscribe or suppression preferences and avoid sending further messages against your choice.
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
Garante per la protezione dei dati personali ↗Some infrastructure or service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are expected to rely on an applicable legal mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
This page may be updated when the site changes, for example if analytics or a server-side contact form are enabled or if the newsletter infrastructure materially changes. The date at the top of the page will be updated when material changes are made.
